School yard opens (There is no supervision on the school yard until this time, and unaccompanied children are not permitted on the yard before 8:20 AM).

8:20 - 8:40 AM

Breakfast is available in the cafeteria.

8:40 AM

Clap-in begins. Clap-in is a community morning meeting with students, teachers, and parents with daily announcements, celebrations and Friday community building dances.

9:00 AM

Fresh snack (fruit or vegetable) is delivered to each classroom.

10:30 - 10:50 AM

Recess for kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.

11:00 - 11:15 AM

Recess for 3rd - 5th grades.

11:50 - 12:30 PM

Lunch and recess for kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.

12:40 - 1:20 PM

Lunch and recess for 3rd - 5th grades.

2:00 - 2:20 PM

Quiet free time (choice of independent quiet time activities) for kindergarten.

2:55 PM

Dismissal for all students. The after school program begins for kids who need care after the regular school day ends. Kindergartners are met by their teachers in the kinder classrooms, all other students report to the lower yard to meet and check in with their after care teachers.

6:00 PM

After school program ends (children can be picked up earlier).
