At Glen Park School, we love the PAX Good Behavior Game. Kids have a blast and at the same time, they learn life-long abilities to sustain attention, to self-regulate and to cooperate with others intentionally to nurture a peaceful and productive school environment. The PAX game teaches our students to “flip on” their internal focus switch, required for any learning. We also use it to teach students how to work toward valued goals and how to cooperate with each other to reach those goals. The game also inspires them to delay gratification for a bigger goal. The PAX game is well researched and is known to promote healthy lifestyles when students reach adulthood.
