Parent Teacher Organization - PTO
The Glen Park Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit organization that exists to enhance and support the educational experience at Glen Park School. We hope through our efforts that we can nurture a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and in turn we will improve the environment at Glen Park School through volunteer and financial support. You can see our current board members and committee chairs here

Upcoming 2016/2017 PTO meeting dates:

  • May 2nd: 6 -7pm & May 5th: 9-10am (PTO Recap/ELAC Meeting)

How Do I Get Involved?
Come to our meetings! We meet monthly, typically on the first Tuesday of the month, from 6pm to 7pm. Free childcare is provided, and we offer Spanish interpretation thanks to the SFUSD’s Translation and Interpretation Department. If you would like translation in a language other than Spanish, the request form can be filled out here:

We will also have morning coffees on Thursdays the same week as the meeting from 9:00am to 10:00am as a recap for parents who cannot attend our Tuesday evening meetings. Spanish interpretation will be available. Our PTO meetings are a great way to get involved. You can learn all about our events, sign up to volunteer, meet other families, and learn about what’s happening at our school.

Please sign up here if you need childcare during the meeting.

Also, make sure you check your child’s yellow folder each week. In it you will find the “month at a glance” with all school activities, the details you need to come and have fun at our events, and let you know about our meeting agendas.
